LSCA is a Bible based, Christian school excellent for students of all Faiths.

Nurturing Hearts and Minds in God’s Creation.

A Christian school since 1974 seeking to inspire our students to think deeply, live fully, serve unselfishly, and love God completely.

Inspired by Christ — Prepared for Life.

Rooted in Christ. Growing in Learning.

True education means more than the perusal of a certain course of study. It means more than a preparation for the life that now is. It has to do with the whole being and with the whole period of existence possible to man. ~ Education, 13.

LSCA recognizes that God is the Creator and Sustainer and the Source of knowledge and wisdom. Knowledge of this personal God is derived from divine revelation as found in the Bible, nature, and human reason.

We are now accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year! For more information, contact our school at (423) 477-5722. 🎯 Mission, Philosophy & Curriculum

LSCA family exists to show children Jesus, nurture their love for Him and others, teach them to think, empower them to serve, and prepare them to share the three angels’ messages.

LSCA’s mission emphasizes helping children know, love, and follow Jesus Christ, grow spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically, and serve others.

The school aims to nurture the whole child—head, hand, and heart—integrating faith, character, academics, and physical development.

Core academics: language arts, reading, math, social studies, and science.

Art, music, and physical education (PE) are standard for every grade.

For the youngest students (Pre-K), LSCA offers a developmentally appropriate, nurturing, Christ-centered early education environment with small class sizes, licensed teachers, a focus on social-emotional skills, kindergarten readiness, and daily worship/Bible class.

🌿 Environment & Community Feel

The campus is situated in a quiet country setting, and LSCA is working on developing gardens, walking trails, and other initiatives to help students appreciate nature and connect spiritually.

The school is affiliated with the local churches of the Seventh-day Adventist Church — staff from those congregations provide spiritual guidance, pastoral visits, devotionals, and counseling support for students.

The school emphasizes a nurturing, Christ-centered, community-oriented environment over competitiveness, focusing on cooperation and character rather than “cutthroat” competition.

📈 Assessment, Accreditation & Quality

LSCA administers assessment testing, including the NWEA MAP Growth Test. Students traditionally rank high in all areas, and exceptionally high in writing and reading skills.

Teachers at LSCA hold a current teaching license through the Seventh-day Adventist Office of Education, and the school is fully accredited.
